KCET - Karnataka Entrance Test

KCET (Karnataka Entrance Test) is an entrance examination for the admission courses in the state of Karnataka, that will be held at various exam centers. This exam is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority(KEA) for admission for merit seats to various engineering, Science and Agricultural courses. This examination is also called Karnataka CET, Kar CET, K-CET.

Who can Write KCET?

Basic eligibility for different courses and KCET is listed below. For Engineering/ Technology

• Students should have qualified equivalent exams(10+2) from recognized board/PUC with Mathematics and Physics as main subject and English.
• Minimum requirements for 45% marks for General category and 40% for SC/ST

For B.Pharma

• Aspirants must have 10+2 with PCB/PCM and English from recognized board /PUC
• Minimum requirements of General Category 50% and 40% for SC/ST category.

KCET 2021 

KCET 2021 will be conducted in the third/ fourth week of April 2021. Exam dates will be announced with the release of notification. registration for KCET begins in the first week of Feb 2021 and ends in the first week of march 2021. Last date to pay the application fees in the second weeks of march 2021. Students can download their admit card in the second week of April 2021. Exam results will be available on the fourth week of May and counselling will be on the first of June 2021.

Exam Pattern

It is an online exam with 80 minutes of duration. There are 180 questions with 60 multiple choices in each section: Physics, Chemistry and Biology or mathematics. There is no negative for this exam and 1 mark will be awarded for the right answers.
